I may have had to get into work before the break of dawn this week but I was rewarded by the sight of Angels Flightlit up in all her glory, trolleys and all. She stopped running in 2001, a year after my first move to downtown, and I’ve been waiting to take another ride since. Maybe she is always turned on when it’s dark outside but I’d like to think that she’s warming up, getting ready to roll like it’s 1901. This area of Bunker Hill always surprises me, from the warm red glow of Angels Flight on a dark silent morning to a hundred cute goats grazing underneath the tracks come September.Take a look…
